Lucknow Development Authority

Lucknow Development Authority was established in 1974 with objective of planning and development of the city. It was developed under the U.P. Urban Planning & Development Act 1973. Lucknow Development Authority is well known as LDA that overwhelmed all animates along with mankind for serving its higher association in Development of Lucknow. LDA is the higher technique & development agency to coordinate with all the departments concerned for the development of the city.Lucknow Development Authority focuses on providing residential accommodation to various categories of home seekers many of whom come from outside the region.  Hence, the demand for houses and all kinds of properties in Lucknow is rising constantly. On its own, it has developed residential colonies and blocks with all infrastructure facilities-roads; water supply, electricity, draining, parks and children's play areas.LDA is responsible to make Lucknow people's life much easier.To maintain the greenery of  Lucknow the authority has created Ecological fund, which is exclusively being utilized to enhance the quality of environment in the development zone. Today, LDA takes care all the things seriously  and dedicated towards their objectives along with pride over the numbers of achievement.To fulfill its role, the Authority seeks to coordinate in accordance with a comprehensive Master Plan along with the work of various other agencies involved in the creation and extension of urban infrastructure.
 

Objective of LDA:

Developing the Pollution free environment and cool environment.

Developing the Colonies healthy and green Atmosphere.

Maintaining a well physical environment in the city .

Developing Road and Transport System for easy Traffic and Transportation.

Developing and executing the Master Plan.

To do ornamentation and reconstruction work at various Public Places of Lucknow

Developing Hospitals,Schools,Orphanage etc.


Projects of LDA:

To develop Residential, Commercial, Offices, Schools, Plots and Multiplexes at Lucknow Faizabad Highway, Lucknow Hardoi Road, Lucknow Kanpur Road and Lucknow Sitapur Road.

To develop a titanic ground with the name of "Ambedkar Railly Sthal" for the purpose of Political Meetings, Exhibitions and Mahotsav.

To develop the Kudiyaghat Picnic Spot on the banks of Gomti river at Hussainabad Chowk.

Developing the 8000 residence under "Ashrayaheen Yojna" in Gomtinagar, Shardanagar, Para, Hardoi Road, Jankipuram for the shelters at payment scheme of Rs. 5/-, 10/-,15/- per day.
