Kolkata Development Authority

The population of Kolkata is approximately 14 million people, Kolkata Metropolitan Area(KMA) faces many development challenges associated with rapid population growth. Kolkata covering an area of 1,785 sq km it includes three municipal corporations, 38 municipalities, 72 non-municipal urban areas and 340 rural villages.

The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) is planning to construct more flats for who are belonging to middle and lower income groups. The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority provides houses to different strata of classes according to their need and budget.
